Achieving a Success Mindset

We’re talking all things mindset! Success vs. fear of failure mindsets and why the latter of the two is more harmful for meeting those endeavors. What does it take to truly succeed in your chosen goal or goals? For starters fearing failure will be your demise if you let it.

Failing is an enviable process of learning and accomplishing whatever it is you set your mind too. When everything you do is centered around not being uncomfortable and not failing you’ve lost. To achieve those bigs wins you must embrace ALL possibilities, even failing at it before you conquer it. A great example is trying new workouts, at first you won’t be the best at it. Your form may be off, your speed may not be where you want it, you might drop the weight, and even though you may have not succeeded in the movement yet you learned! You figured out what doesn’t work and you become resilient and begin trying new approaches no longer scared of what might not work because you know it’s a process. Eventually you find what does and crush your goal!

This can apply in ALL aspects of life. If you’re not willing to fail a few times in order to grow, you don’t want to reap the reward. The most successful people are those who have failed numerous of times but took those failures not as losses, but as wins that brought them one step closer to where they want to be in life.

Never stop challenging yourself and fall in love with the journey! There is not one way to succeed for everyone. The definition of succeed looks different for each person. However, if you want something bad enough becoming comfortable with discomfort and inviting failure in as a learning opportunity is the key to a successful mindset!
